Obituary of Joaquin Miguele
Joaquin Miguele, 96, of St. Petersburg, FL, went home peacefully to his Lord and Savior on November 8, 2020. Joaquin was greeted in heaven by his predeceased wife, Nelida, his oldest son, Ricardo and Ricardo’s wife, Valerie. He is survived by a son, William, and his four daughters: Zulema; Marina, married to Hector Aguilera; Catalina, married to Michael Smith; and Elizabeth, married to Jerry Ledbetter. He was born on August 19, 1924, in Corrientes, Argentina to the late Favian Miguele and Clara Fernandez de Zarza. He was the seventh son of twelve children. Joaquin was grandfather to twelve children and great-grandfather to nine. Joaquin was a merchant marine for Argentina before emigrating to the United States. He worked as a construction foreman building many of the bridges and highways around Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. He enjoyed going to the beach, fishing, cooking out and spending time with family. He loved a good steak and never lost his love for seafood.
