Victor Lowell Bonat, age 80, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on

DC area and Mexico, and Wyoming ; Victor was the consummate entrepreneur, owning a

BBQ restaurant, assisted living homes, a home warranty business and other ventures.

He was a devoted Catholic, completing Education for Parish Service, taught CCD, joined

the Knights of Columbus, and was Eucharistic Minister. He ran his businesses in a

Catholic manner, offering loans, providing down payments and other assistance for his

employees in need. Victor also served on the boards of International Pizza Hut

Franchisee Association and Gunston School.

A king of the one-liner and non sequitur, he had many friends he was devoted to

including Marcus Clark, Jerry Aaron, Dan Shedrick and Jack Shelton. He was an avid

hunter, sailor and fisherman and enjoyed being with his children. Victor and Barbara

lived an adventurous life of travel, a sojourn on the water on the Eastern Shore of

Maryland and an extended adventure in their Airstream trailer with their dogs Mac and

Tanner. They ultimately retired to St. Petersburg, FL.
