Judith Bessler of Clearwater, Florida died peacefully under the amazing care of Suncoast Hospice at the age of 84 on October 7, 2020. Judith was born in Chicago, Illinois from parents who migrated to America from Russia. She was sister to Sandy and Barry. After graduating from college, Judith married and became a loving and devoted wife to George for over 60 years, following her Air Force husband and raising her two children on military bases in our beautiful country including Alaska, California, Florida, Virginia, Delaware and Ohio and overseas in Africa and England. Judith is mother to Lisa (Mike)and George(Suzanne) both of whom attribute their success to her loving and nurturing upbringing and exceptional moral and ethical standards. Judith is grandmother to Ryan (Melissa), Alex (Kacey), Candice (Cole), Lindsey, Samantha and Rachael, and great grandmother to Brayden and Conner. Judith was an avid yachtsman exploring the Florida Gulf Coast waters, restaurants and islands in her own yacht together with her husband. She cruised the world including the Caribbean, Egypt, China, Europe and Alaska, and never missing an opportunity to take the onboard casino's money through Blackjack. Judith was a devoted homemaker until the age where her children no longer needed her full time attention, and then she successfully pursued careers in the commercial arcade business, real estate sales and managing an engine remanufacturing business. She was known for her old fashion cooking skills where she still made most recipes from scratch. She was particularly known for her homemade spaghetti sauce and egg noodles. No one ever needed for a scarf, gloves or hat because of her skillful and artistic knitting and crocheting skills. Judith was an avid antique collector and loved anything with a giraffe. Honoring her wishes, Judith will be remembered in a private family celebration of life.
